What is a DJ QR code request system?
It's a tool that turns a printed or on-screen QR code into a song request channel. Guests scan the code with their phone camera, type the song title and artist, then confirm the matching track we find for them. The request lands in the DJ's queue for approval instead of playing automatically.
Do guests need to download an app to request a song?
No. The QR code opens a mobile web page in the phone's browser. There is no app install, no account and no login — guests just enter the event PIN if the DJ has set one.
Can the DJ block songs and reject requests?
Yes. Every request lands in a queue the DJ approves, rejects or reorders. A do-not-play list blocks banned tracks and artists before the request ever reaches the DJ's screen, and the DJ can pause requests mid-set.
How do duplicate requests work?
Repeat requests for the same track stack into one ranked card with an upvote count, so the DJ can see what the floor actually wants without scrolling through fifty identical requests.
Does it work for weddings, corporate events and venues?
Yes. Each event gets its own QR code, PIN, branding and rules. Weddings, birthdays, corporate parties, cruise ships and multi-op DJ companies all run on the same system.
